BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (AP) — “School Prayer Zone” signs are cropping up near some schools in South Carolina.

News shops report the white and fluorescent inexperienced signs present two figures kneeling in prayer, their fingers clasped above the phrases “2 Chronicles 7:14.” The Bible verse guarantees those that pray and “turn from their wicked ways” will probably be forgiven.

The $714 signs by nonprofit Christ Teens may be seen in a number of counties and resemble official signs by the South Carolina Department of Transportation. The company says it did not approve the signs, however they’re authorized as they sit on non-public property and are outdoors the freeway rights of means.

Nonprofit director and founder Vanessa Frazier says she got here up with the thought in 2016 and has been figuring out the small print with the state company ever since.
